A Movable Floor is essentially a false floor that
can be pulled down by external hydraulic rams, giving a variable depth of water. This allows shallow water for children
to learn to swim, or water deep enough for diving - all in the same pool structure.
Additionally, a Submersible Boom becomes a
temporary barrier, dividing the pool into two separate areas where different activities can be carried out at the same time.
This gives a commercial pool centre an increased source of revenue, allowing a very quick return on investment.
There are many combinations available -
This Movable Floor and Boom was even retro-fitted into an old swimming pool, reducing a 33.3
metre pool to 25 metres. The separate area created has a Movable Floor, making it suitable for deep-water
diving or for shallow-water teaching or exercise classes.
